Two classic Elvis Presley titles are coming out on SA-CD in the near future: just announced and being discussed now over on stevehoffman.tv
In addition, the best engineer ever, Steve Hoffman, will be in charge of these titles.
(Note that he is also issuing some spiffing Nat King Cole SA-CDs soon too).

| It's great news, isn't it? We'll be giving it some coverage shortly. It's remarkable that pop music continues to be (re)released on SACD but in stereo only (see the recent MoFi releases), suggesting the audiophile niche is a more attractive market than the multichannel enthusiasts. And when multichannel pop/rock does get issued it has en equal or better chance of ending up on DVD-Audio, if the King Crimson announcements are anything to go by. |
