Firmware Question

I just purchased a PS360g and can do nothing online without updating my firmware. Will the current 2.3 update take away my SACD and PS2 features?

There is one known (though officially undocumented) feature that can be lost by upgrading and that's the on-the-fly DSD-to-DST transcoding for multichannel SACD playback through optical output. It only exists in firmware v2.00.

It's a matter of personal judgment whether this feature is worthwhile sticking to 2.00 for (at the expense of all later feature additions).

How do I get just the 2.0 update? Some type of download somewhere? For a usb jump drive maybe? Can I go back to factory default settings if I do not like the update?

Unfortunately, neither contains v2.00 (yet). There must be people out there who've got the download on their PC, a disc or a USB drive but it doesn't appear to be circulating.
