Yamaha RX-663, blu-ray music vs SACD

Bought a used 60gb CECHA01 ps3. I have quite a few sacd titles already and wanted to try a blu-ray title. I ended up getting a live concert release of Rush - Snakes and Arrows.

The blu--ray plays fine and the music is great (it's Rush, of course it's good), but the blu-ray seems to lack depth like the SACD titles I have.

Started checking the settings and eventually got the blu-ray in a multichannel mode (defaulted to the 2 ch version for some reason), but found the sampling rate seemed stuck at 48kz.

It may be that the format (video and sound) is set for blu-ray discs
is set to that sampling rate and it can't be scaled up.

The SACD multi-channels all scaled yp to 176kz fine and sounded
fine. Is there any way to changes the sampling rate higher?
