Well, it's not a full SACD top 10 as a consequence of our covering other high-resolution and 5.1 formats too but it's an interesting overview nevertheless.
Genesis, Dire Straits, Bryan Ferry and Elton John and Billy Joel have dropped out and are replaced by The Beatles and the Stones plus Miles Davis and King Crimson. Pink Floyd's DSotM continues to be the most popular title.

How does the Beatles Mono Box Set (CD) fit into that? 1.0 surround? 
It is a good set. I have it myself. I waiting to see what hi-rez alternatives present themselves for the stereo stuff (besides the out of stock and rather expensive USB set). I have a feeling we might see some sort of blu-ray release eventually.
In the meantime, I have a mostly full set of Parlophone and Apple vinyl version of their albums from the 70s and 80s to give me some reason to use my turntable. |
